We, on the board, are excited for the upcoming school year and have been spending lots of time this summer making plans for a great year for all of the children at Silver Mesa. We are so grateful for all the volunteers who have already stepped forward to be in charge of the many PTA-sponsored programs at our school such as Reflections, Red Ribbon Week, Junior Achievement, Masterpiece Art, Teacher Appreciation, and Book Fair (to name just a few). There are amazing people in place to head up these committees and it will be a fantastic year!
If you would like to help out with anything, please contact us (silvermesapta@gmail.com) as we are ALWAYS looking for willing volunteers and want everyone to feel included at our school. The more volunteers we have helping (and we aren't picky—we will take parents, grandparents, neighbors, friends, etc.—as long as everyone gets cleared by the district), the greater our programs will be. This, in turn, will provide a richer educational experience for our children, which is our goal.
We appreciate all the support we have received from parents in the past and look forward to more of the same this year. Please join with us in making 2015-16 the best year for all the children at Silver Mesa! :)
