Understanding Silver Mesa Fundraisers
Do fundraisers at
Silver Mesa confuse you? There are two
fundraisers at our school--one in the Fall and one in the Spring. The
Fall fundraiser is the PTA's No-Fuss Fundraiser which funds the programs
at our school, including $7000 for Field Trips ($1000 per grade which pays
for busses and admission). The Jog-a-thon is the Spring fundraiser which
is sponsored by the School Community Council (SCC) and typically pays for school
technology.
The PTA is only
allowed one
fundraiser per school year and that is the No-Fuss Fundraiser which is
happening right now. Our fundraiser goal is $12,000 and as of now, we're
about halfway there and we have just one week left of our fundraiser
drive. The $30 per student suggested amount is a great deal for all that
PTA provides to the 600+ students in our school!
